This heart disease is characterized by the myocardial ischemia, anoxia or nocrosis due to Coronary atherosclerosis. The common types are latent coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and myocardial infarction.

Qi deficiency and blood stasis. 

Principle of treatment in our centre: 

To enrich Qi and nourish Yin, activate blood and remove stasis, dilate coronary artery, increase blood supply to myocardium, lower blood viscosity, anticoagulation, elevate cAMP level of myocardial cells, protect ischemic myocardial cells directly, increase myocardial tolerance to ischemia and SOD, suppress cytomembrane lipid peroxidation, keep bowels open to avoid over effort when bowel movement that will stimulate sympathetic nerves and increase the secretion of catecholamine causing coronary artery spasm.
